International University of Japan (IUJ) saat ini sedang membuka program beasiswa shortcourse Environmental Policy Program (EPP) yang akan dilaksanakan selama 6 bulan mulai Oktober 2010 – Maret 2011. Meskipun deadline aplikasinya tgl 31 Mei 2010, namun saya mendapat info bahwa pihak IUJ masih dapat mengperpanjang deadline aplikasi sampai seminggu kemudian (kebetulan saya salah satu mahasiswa S2 di IUJ). Infonya sebagai berikut:
 
Second ‘Environmental Policy Program’ Inviting Applications

The Graduate School of International Relations (GSIR) will offer an Environmental Policy Program (EPP) for the second time. The EPP is a 6-month non-degree program which will run from October 2010 through March 2011, taught entirely in English.

This program is designed to prepare the next generation of leaders in environmental policy and management by providing them with a conceptual framework and practical skills.

The EPP is sponsored by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and is conducted under its project entitled “2010/2011: Invitation Project Implemented by JASSO Supporting the Exchange of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students from ASEAN Member Nations etc. under the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students & Youths (JENESYS) Programme.”

The GSIR is inviting applications from students with a bachelor’s degree and who are currently pursuing gradaute studies in a university in one of the following countries: Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam.

Only those students who have the nationalities of any of the following countries will be eligible to apply to be sponsored by JASSO: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, or Vietnam.

The GSIR will admit up to 14 students who will be sponsored by JASSO for the EPP. The application deadline is Monday, May 31, 2010.

Application form for the EPP can be downloaded from this page. Please print it out and send it to us together with all other required documents for application to:

The admitted students will be given an “Exchange Student” status and will reside in the IUJ’s student dormitories that provide the opportunity to enjoy life on campus with people of different nationalities and backgrounds.

Sebagai tambahan beasiswanya mengcover a round trip airfare, montly stipend 130.000 yen, etc dan hanya diperuntukkan bagi mereka yang saat ini masih kuliah S2 dan belum akan lulus sampai Maret 2011.
