Security Modelling: PhD Studentship in Computing

Applications are invited for a PhD studentship based at the University of Bradford. Applications are open to UK, EU and international applicants.
This three-year studentship provides full tuition fees for full time research studies. You will also be sponsored for training and conference attendance relevant to the research topic.
The successful candidate should propose an outline research proposal in the domain of security modelling. You will work under the supervision of Dr. Attila Csenki and Dr. Rob Holton. The successful candidate may also have opportunities to contribute to academic delivery in subjects relevant to the research studies.
The primary criteria for awarding the studentship will be the qualifications and experience of the prospective student, and the motivation, commitment and enthusiasm as evidenced in an outline research concept. Prospective candidates will need to have good Honours or Masters University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline. Programming skills are desirable; a good background in mathematics, statistics, and/or economics is essential.
