PhD position in databases at Mostrare INRIA and Lifl, Lille, France
Data integration for heterogeneous data formats (**please apply asap and, in any case, not later than mid of March 2012**)
The Mostrare team of INRIA and Lifl in Lille (http:/mostrare.lille.inria.fr/) invites applications for a full-time PhD studentship in the area of databases and data integration, starting (ideally) in Spring 2012.
The position is funded by the University of Lille I and can also guarantee a double PhD degree (if the country of origin has such a special agreement with the French Ministry of Education). The position is offered for 3 years and includes a grant of roughly 1,600 Eur gross income per month and social security benefits (affiliated to the French social security system).
Applicants must have already accomplished a Master in computer science or mathematics (i.e. academic certificate should be readily available).
We are seeking excellent candidates, who have a demonstrated affinity with databases, algorithms or logic.
Proficiency in implementation and experimentation is expected.
Previous experience is appreciated. Fluency in English is an important added value.
